Catherine Channer promoted English lace and her book, Lacemaking Point Ground has been in and out of print since the early 20th Century.
Miss Channer designed many pieces of lace including the mythical 'Miss Channer's mat pattern has been fought over lacemakers world wide as a piece of lace that they all yearn to make. As it has been out of print for over 2 decades, it's rarity has only served to increase it's legend.
