Dee Carver

Chris Parons Bobbins
From flowers to pet portraits
There are very few people who have bought me bobbins and my first two bobbins, painted by Dee, were a Christmas present.

Agnes and Freya (aka Princess and The Munchkin) have been captured exactly.  And painting black cats is an art in itself.

Dee paints on SMP standard wood bobbins for her Midlands and Acorn bobbins for her bone ones.

I was talking with Dee about her painting and she mentioned she had just painted some violets.

These were my Mum's birth flowers and Dee had painted them on what would have been Mum's 89th Birthday so Dee put them aside for me and I matched them with primroses, one of Mum's favourite spring flowers.
