Where shall we go next?
The idea behind this mind map is to help you choose what type of lace you might fancy trying next.
Find the lace you are doing now and follow the arrows to find laces that may be similar or next steps from the lace you are making. The links are neither geographical nor historical. They are simply where styles or techniques make sense for next steps.
The idea behind this has come about as I have reread all my books for the book blog. I started to see similar concepts or techniques across lace and tah dah - this is the result.
I also wanted to create something that allows newbies to look at a pattern and go, yep, I want to do that now how do I get to that lace from where I am.
Do you know of a bobbin lace that I should have added? Then send me an email with it's name and some details (web link would be fab) so I can add it in.

Technical bit - this mind map was created using lucid chart. I've traditionally used Visio for this kind of thing but have recently moved to lucid chart as it allows collaboration and other features. I have a paid account but you can do similar things with a free account.
