  • This book provides not just the information on making the lace petals, but also how to assemble the flowers.
  • This book is out of print, but occasionally it comes up second hand on eBay and lace suppliers.

​Whilst not strictly a follow up volume to The Small Friendly Spider, this is definitely a companion book.

Taking the spider theme further, it includes not just bobbin lace patterns, but also a knitting pattern, needle-lace spider and some fun to be had with pipe cleaners.

​This book does use coloured diagrams to explain which stitches are used and there is a legend on page 7 which explains this however the legend is in black and white and in Danish so using an app to translate would be a good choice.
​
This book would suit the adventerous beginner or intermediate lace maker.
