This is one of only two mainstream books on Rosaline that were published during the 1990s.

Rosaline lace has a characteristic embroidered 'peal' which, when joined, create the 'Rosaline-Perlée'

Interest in this lace was sparked by more globally by Ghislaine Eemans-Moore's multilingual book Rosaline Lace in 1996.

What works well?

The step by step black and white line drawings work well to guide the lacemaker through the steps

Anything that we need to take into consideration?

Similar techniques are used in Honiton and Duchess so this book would make a good 'next move' for anyone familiar with those laces.
Although this book is in Dutch, translating it should not be an issue - read my post on translations
This book is currently out of print and only occasionally appears as a second hand book.

This book covers the techniques of Rosaline Lace which Ghislaine Eemans-Moore had worked to bring back into fashion following her studies at the Kant Centre in Bruges.

There are few books on this 'forgotten' technique with Jan Geelen's Rosaline Perlée (1991) being one of the few other books on the subject.
