Bedfordshire Lace Patterns; A Personal Selection - Margaret Turner

Publisher : Ruth Bean Publishers; First Edition (1 July 1986)
ISBN-10 : 0903585219
ISBN-13 : 978-0903585217
Bedfordshire Lace Patterns; A Personal Selection by Margaret Turner
The publisher, Ruth Bean originally conceived this as a follow on volume to Pam Robinson's A Manual of Bedfordshire Lace.
Ruth asked Margaret Turner to choose key pieces from her collection and create a book of patterns to inspire lacemakers who loved Bedfordshire lace
Picture
What works well?
  • The black and white photos are of exceptional quality and show the lace in very high details
Anything that we need to take into consideration?
  • It has a supplement at the back of the book with the larger prickings. Care should be taken to ensure that this is supplied with the book
  • This book is out of print, but occasionally comes up on eBay.

I'm the lace bee and these are my books

With currently over 300 books and about the same number of individual patterns, I have an enviable library.  So here are some of my books.

You can see all of the titles by opening up the archives or by clicking on the categories which I've used to group by authors, language and lace types

I am very grateful to the lace gumnuts of Australia for permission to quote and link to their reviews to this site.
