Miniature Bobbin Lace - Roz Snowden

Publisher : Guild of Master Craftsman Publications Ltd; Reprint edition (31 Dec. 1998)
ISBN-10 : 1861080867
ISBN-13 : 978-1861080868
Minature Bobbin Lace by Roz Snowden
This book is packed with fantastic 1/12th (Dolls House) scale projects.
For the very small projects, it will benefit you to invest in some thin pins so that your projects are less crowded.
Roz also published a second volume; New Ideas for Miniature Bobbin Lace
What works well?
  • The photos and diagrams help with understanding how the lace is to be created
  • A number of these projects can be created in an evening or two so you can make a quick and personal gift for the miniaturist in your life.
Anything that we need to take into consideration?
  • Some of the pieces are exceptionally small and any mistakes will stand out when using thin thread so I would recommend that you start with some of the bigger projects whilst you get used to working in 1/12th scale.
  • This book is out of print, but regularly appears on eBay.

I'm the lace bee and these are my books

With currently over 300 books and about the same number of individual patterns, I have an enviable library.  So here are some of my books.

You can see all of the titles by opening up the archives or by clicking on the categories which I've used to group by authors, language and lace types

I am very grateful to the lace gumnuts of Australia for permission to quote and link to their reviews to this site.
