Threads for Lace - Brenda Paternoster

Publisher : Self Published
Threads for Lace
Brenda Paternoster

Probably one of the most useful books on the market for lacemakers and fibre artists.
Threads for Lace by Brenda Paternoster helps you to find a thread to substitute in patterns.
Great when you don't want to have to buy a new spool and essential when the quoted thread is no longer manufactured.

Picture
What works well?
  • Brenda explains how to take unknown threads and yarns and count the wraps per inch (WPI) so that you can then find a substitute within the book.
Anything that we need to take into consideration?
  • The current edition is sold out, but copies are occasionally available from different sellers and on eBay.
  • Brenda has addendums for any of the previous version in her book on her website.
  • For more information, visit Brenda's website

I'm the lace bee and these are my books

With currently over 300 books and about the same number of individual patterns, I have an enviable library.  So here are some of my books.

You can see all of the titles by opening up the archives or by clicking on the categories which I've used to group by authors, language and lace types

I am very grateful to the lace gumnuts of Australia for permission to quote and link to their reviews to this site.
