Great when you don't want to have to buy a new spool and essential when the quoted thread is no longer manufactured.

Brenda explains how to take unknown threads and yarns and count the wraps per inch (WPI) so that you can then find a substitute within the book.

How can I purchase this book as each site I go into says not available

Hi Estelle, thanks for your interest in the book blog. This book is now out of print and very sought after. As such, it isn’t available from bookshops, Amazon or lace suppliers and rarely comes up second hand. It’s worth keeping an eye out on eBay or face book lace selling groups.
